Kettler was the first German manufacturer to successfully use aluminum for the production of bicycles in 1976. Since the introduction 25 years of experience, research and innovations conceived and carried out by Kettler technicians and engineers have steadily improved Kettler aluminum bicycles. The newest developments in frame construction- especially in the range of full suspension bikes, as well as the secondary treatment of welded aluminum frames ensure the high technical level of frame production.
The Kettler bicycle frames are rustproof and ultimately weatherproof. Kettler has also used a patented asymmetrical tube, which achieves a strength that is 15 to 20 times stronger than standard aluminum tubing. This means higher safety standards. The frames are all manufactured in Germany at Kettler’s state of the art production facility. All of the resin bicycle parts, from children’s seats to chain guards, and even the tiniest resin parts are all made of Kettler’s high quality lacquered resin.
