Biking Clubs California Bicycle Clubs Almaden Cycle Touring Club The Almaden Cycle Touring Club (ACTC) is a group of about 1000 bicycle enthusiasts based in the south San Francisco Bay area. Emphasis is on group fun and safety, with a variety of bicycling related events for a wide range of ability levels. Alta Alpina Cycling Club The Alta Alpina Cycling Club(AACC) is a road and mountain bike club in the Carson City, Gardnerville and Lake Tahoe area involved in both racing and touring. Alto Velo Bicycle Racing Club The Alto Velo Bicycle Racing Club is one of America's top amateur cycling clubs. Based in the Silicon Valley of California, Alto Velo supports and encourages bike racing across all categories, with a special emphasis on master's and women's racing.
Bay Area Velo Girls The Velo Girls™ was founded in March,
2002 by Lorri Lee Lown, a Bay Area cyclist. The club is a place
where women and girls can share their love for cycling in a
safe, friendly, encouraging environment. Berkeley Bike Club The Berkeley Bike Club (BBC) is an incorporated non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote the sport of cycling by recruiting and training riders for racing, and bringing bicycle races to the attention of the public. Membership in the club is open to all interested persons. The club includes both riders and racers. Bicycle Club of Irvine The Bicycle Club of Irvine is a recreational and social cycling club for men and women of all ages and skill levels. We are not a racing team. Desert Bicycle Club Palm Desert, La Quinta, Indian Wells, Rancho Mirage, Indio, Cathedral City, Palm Springs, California. Channel Islands Bicycle Club The premiere cycling club in western Ventura County for beginners and the experienced road cyclist. The CIBC is a non-profit, recreational organization that provides enjoyable and safe recreational bicycle riding and related activities in an around Ventura, Santa Barbara & Los Angeles Counties. Cherry City Cyclists Cyclists from all over the Bay Area, who share the love of cycling. The Club provides an environment for cyclists to meet other cyclists and experience the beauties of Alameda County and the surrounding Bay Area, together. Chico Velo Cycling Club For many years, Chico Velo was a group of loose knit riders until we officially formed in 1980. Our first century ride was in 1981 and about 100 riders showed up. Today, our Wildflower Century alone attracts over 2,500 riders and is still growing. Conejo Valley Cyclists The recreational side of the club enjoys riding from 17 to 30 miles or more at a moderate pace on Saturdays and meeting after rides at Bent on Coffee. Covina Cycle Club We are a group of about 50 people who ride bikes for fun, camaraderie, and exercise. We are NOT a racing club, although we have some pretty speedy riders. Diablo Cyclists Located 30 miles east of San Francisco in Walnut Creek, California, the Diablo Cyclists are a recreational/touring, road and off road bicycle club, focused on providing the novice, intermediate and advanced cyclist an opportunity to ride, train and socialize with other bicycle enthusiasts. Delta Pedalers The Delta Pedalers is a road, off road and tandem bicycle club for inexperienced, intermediate and advanced cyclists. We strive to offer all ages the opportunity to ride, train and socialize while gaining fitness and riding skills. We will also advocate for bicycle causes in the California East Bay area. Dock Riders Cycling Club This social riding club, rides throughout the City of Los Angeles, (Mostly at the beach) and the surrounding areas. They ride with one thing on their mind, being safe and riding safe! Their starting point would be in the parking lot at Dock 52, in Marina Del Rey. Eagle Cycling Club The Eagle Cycling Club provides cyclists with a variety of riding experiences. Our members can be seen on the road, in the hills, on tandems, on recumbants and often pulling kids in trailers. We help the community by promoting safe bicycle riding, having members on Bicycle Advisory Committee, Napa Bicycle Coalition and sponsoring an Adopt a Highway cleanup section on Silverado Trail. Echelon Santa Barbara Bicycle Club Echelon Santa Barbara is a road bicycling club based in Santa Barbara, California. Echelon welcomes dedicated new riders and experienced racers, men and women, old or young, and all those who want to expand their cycling horizons. Erma's Diner The Bicycling Club Ione, California Erma's Diner collects no dues and holds no meetings other than on bicycles. We don't have a varied ride calendar. We ride out of the parking lot behind the police station, next to Iron Ivan the locomotive every Saturday and Sunday of the year (barring rain). Foothill Cycle Club of the San Gabriel Valley The Foothill Cycle Club is a touring and recreational bike club that has been organizing weekend rides and annual cycling events for 29 years. There are no elected officers of the club, only volunteers who lead rides, chair events and write and publish the monthly bulletin. Fremont Freewheelers Bicycle Club FFBC offers weekly and monthly rides on all types of terrain for all types of riders. Fresno Cycling Club The Fresno Cycling Club is a group of some 500+ cyclists who enjoy bicycling as recreation and sport. As a club we seek to offer cycling events and activities that span a spectrum of cycling interests. If you like your bike, FCC has a place for you! Goleta Valley Cycling Club The Goleta Valley Cycling Club (GVCC) is a recreational and sport touring association committed to promoting safety, health, and fitness through the shared social activity of bicycling. Grizzly Peak Cyclists We have club rides most weekends in the year. We are based in the East Bay and have rides all over the Bay Area. Some of our club rides are held in conjunction with other bicycle clubs. We have some members leading mountain bike rides and self-contained tours. High Sierra Cyclists Serving the California High Desert out of Ridgecrest. JPL Bicycle Club The Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) Bicycle Club is one of many sub-clubs at JPL. The club is now administered under Employee Service and Recognition. (ESR). Kern Wheelmen The Kern Wheelmen Bicycle Club is a group of some 150+ cyclists that live around Kern County, California who enjoy bicycling as recreation and sport. As a Club, we seek to offer cycling events and/or rides that span a spectrum of cycling interests. Knickerbikers The Knickerbikers is San Diego's bicycle touring club, offering day trips (mostly on the road, but some mountain biking) thoughout San Diego County every Saturday and Sunday morning, and on Tuesday evenings. The length and pace vary, but most of the rides are in the 30-60 mile range. Los Angeles Wheelmen We are a group of bicyclists who enjoy the pleasure of riding with friends. We are not a racing club, and we welcome members of all abilities. We offer rides for beginners as well as more experienced riders. Marin Cyclists Road Club We are cyclists from all over the Bay Area who share the love of cycling. The Marin Cyclists Road Club provides an environment for cyclists to meet other cyclists and experience the beauties of Marin County and the surrounding Bay Area, together. Monticello Cycling Club of Vacaville, California. North Ranch Mountain Bikers The North Ranch Mountain Bikers is the biggest and oldest mountain bike riding group in the Los Angeles area. We have two or three rides every weekend and ride on many different trails throughout the year. Oakland Yellowjackets Bicycle Club Established in 1986, the Oakland Yellowjackets Bicycle Club (OYJ) is a social, multi-cultural bicycling group for men and women of all ages and skill levels. We are not a racing team. Our "no-drop" policy ensures that even the slowest cyclists will always ride accompanied. Old Kranks Bicycle Club Membership is open to anyone over 50 years of age. We offer recreational road bicycling at all levels including beginners, intermediate, and advanced riders. Orange County Wheelmen The oldest and most diverse Bicycle club in Orange County consisting of the five different cycling groups Orange County's original recreational bicycling club. Pasadena Mountain Bike Club We ride a lot, and really try, but we're just slugs on bikes. If you come out on one of our rides, you most likely won't be the last person in the group. If you are more leisurely than the rest of us, then, rest assured, there will be at least one person right back there with you to thank you for giving them a reason to take it easy. Peninsula Velo Peninsula Velo is a unique mix of racers and recreational riders. Racers participate on the road, track and trails. Club members travel to century rides throughout California. PV gives back to the bicycling community by hosting two of the most popular, longest running races in the area: the San Bruno Hill Climb and the Burlingame Criterium. PV also gives back to the community where we live and ride. Ranchos Cycling Team Located in Northern San Diego, our club consists of members that enjoy the many different forms of cycling. From road to mountain, competitive to training, beginner to professional, our club provides the cyclist with a medium to enjoy the two-wheeled sport. Responsible Organized Mountain Pedalers Responsible Organized Mountain Pedalers (ROMP) is the oldest off-road cycling advocacy group in the Bay Area. Presently, we have about 400 members who are concerned with trail access in the San Francisco South Bay and Peninsula regions. Riverside Bicycle Club Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at the Coffee Depot. The Coffee Depot is Riverside's historic landmark number nine. Sacramento Bike Hikers The Bike Hikers are the oldest continually active cycling club in the Sacramento area, founded in 1968. The club's focus is on recreational and tour cycling. Sacramento Wheelmen The club was formed over 30 years ago and currently has over 700 members. It is well known for sponsoring the annual Sierra Century. The club prides itself on being a major resource in the cycling community and a good friend to the community at large. We donate time, money, and labor to a number of organizations that benefit cyclists and others. San Diego Bicycle Club The San Diego Bicycle Club is the oldest oldest bicycle club in San Diego. SDBC Supports men and women of all age groups, including some highly competitive juniors. The club provides its members training programs from seasoned cyclists with racing and coaching experience. SDBC also organizes some of the best races in the west. Sierra Club San Diego Bicycle Club The Bicycle Section of the Sierra Club's San Diego Chapter hosts about 20 rides each month, plus a few social events. San Diego Tandem Club The San Diego Tandem Club holds rides and other events for tandem bicycle enthusiasts in San Diego County. We have regular shorter, social pace rides as well as moderately paced rides, and faster, hillier rides for those who enjoy a challenge. San Fernando Valley Bicycle Club The Club’s ride format has grown from a modest Short and Medium ride schedule twice each month to our current wide range of rides set for every Saturday, Sunday and most holidays. We have attracted members from the entire San Fernando Valley and from other areas in both Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. San Jose Bicycle Club San Jose Bicycle Club (SJBC) members actively participate in club and United States Cycling Federation (USCF) racing in the greater Bay Area and Northern Nevada. San Luis Obispo Bicycle Club (We Ride to Eat, we Eat to Ride). We are proud to call ourselves SLOBs. The San Luis Obispo Bicycle Club was founded to promote safe and legal riding of bicycles and to encourage bicycle riding as an accepted mode of transportation. Santa Cruz County Cycling Club The Santa Cruz County Cycling Club is a non profit organization working to support cycling growth and education in Santa Cruz County. Santa Rosa Cycling Club The Santa Rosa Cycling Club takes its name from the City of Santa Rosa, county seat and largest city in Sonoma County, California. The City of Santa Rosa, is located about 60 miles north of San Francisco, along the same Hwy 101 corridor that links the county's other major towns: Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Windsor, Healdsburg, and Cloverdale. SCOT Cardiac Cyclists S.C.O.R., which stands for "Specialized Coronary Outpatient Rehabilitation," was founded 1974 by Randy Ice, P.T., C.C.S. We are an incorporated, non-profit recreational bicycling club which encourages bicycling as form of rehabilitative therapy after heart attack, coronary bypass surgery, angioplasty and other forms of heart disease. Shasta Wheelmen The Shasta Wheelmen Bicycling Club is a cycling group whose membership is family-oriented and welcomes riders of all ages. Founded in 1970, it is affiliated with the League of American Bicyclists, the California Association of Bicycling Organizations, and Adventure Cycling. Skyline Cycling Club Skyline Cycling Club, which is a social recreational club in the San Francisco South Bay Area, was founded in 1972. Our club motto is: "We ride to eat, we eat to ride". In addition to road and off-road bicycle rides, we have occasional hikes, ski trips, and other outings. South Bay Mountain Biking Club SBMBC is CORBA’s recreational mountain biking club serving the Los Angeles, California area. Regular rides in the Santa Monica, San Gabriel, and San Bernadino Mountains; and the Angeles and Cleveland National Forests.

Tire Association is a non-profit organization. The goals of the
organization are: Stanford University Cycling Club Stanford Cycling continues to lead the way in collegiate cycling. We promote cycling with rides seven days a week, community service, and lots of racing. Stanford Cycling has one of the best collegiate racing programs in the country, with top results in road, track and mountain biking. The Stanford Cycling Club facilitates rider development for all levels of cyclists. Stockton Bicycle Club The Stockton Bicycle Club is comprised of cycling enthusiasts from San Joaquin and surrounding counties with a wide range of abilities and interests. Valley Spokesmen Bicycle Club The Valley Spokesmen are a San Francisco Bay Area bicycle club, based in Dublin, California (approximately 15 miles east of Oakland). The club conducts both local and non-local rides. Emphasis is on road cycling, however some mountain bike rides are available. Western Wheelers Bicycle Club Western Wheelers Bicycle Club, Inc. is a nonprofit organization based on the San Francisco Peninsula that hosts a variety of rides every month to suit cyclists of all abilities.
