it is a good horn for anyone how is looking for a good horn. I will use it in a park to get over bikes out of my way!!!!!! I love it!!!!!!!!!

Yes it is very effective at 1 yard but, when you get beyond 6 yards in the city it becomes very faded. Yes it would be much more effective in areas that have less noise. But i also found it to be startling to some pedestrians. The Siren is not really that recognizable as if it were a bicycle bell. Overall it is effective, and to a certain extent can clear away traffic, and warn pedestrians

If you are looking for a good horn that is loud an reaonable than this one is for you. I was in th park near my house ad Iwanted to test it so when I did the people at the other end of the park heard it and that was just over a yard away. the only down fall is the design, I feel it could be made more thinner. But trust me this is the horn for you. also the shipping is excelent.
