The Pedalite pedals offer 360 degree visibility while riding your bicycle. The integrated battery-free pedal lights (red and amber) can be seen from a distance of up to 1 km away and from any angle, including the side. As soon as you start pedalling, the Pedalite pedals uniquely harvest and store a small amount of energy so the LED lights continue to flash even when you are freewheeling or are stopped at an intersection.
Many vehicle and bicycle collisions occur from the side. The pedal lights will greatly increase your visibility and enhance your safety while riding your bicycle. Because the lights operate anytime you are pedaling, they have an extra safety advantage because when it becomes cloudy, or is approaching dusk, and you do not have a bicycle light on, the pedals will already be illuminated - making you more visible to vehicles.
