A Gimble Style mount is used for handlebar mounting. A new titanium finish with an additional clear coat for added protection, faster charge time and tabbed mounting rings for easier handlebar mounting, round out the MiNewt.X2 Dual's 2008 features.

A NiteRider exclusive, on all Niterider LED lighting systems, are "Gimble" style mounts. Gimble mounts imply that the center of rotation is located at the geometrical center and are most frequently used in aerospace and nautical applications. Gimble mounts are superior, offering unlimited adjustments. They are more mechanically complex, difficult to design and engineer and thus more costly, than the simpler kinematic mounts used with most bike lights.
