I've had one of these for a good six or seven years now. Other than replacing the tires I've had to do very little maintenance. It is a very solid, well built mountain bike. I don't have the folding pedals (not an option when I bought it) but would recommend getting same. It is heavy but not too heavy to lift and put into a trunk. Reliable and packable. No wonder it is used by many police and military units.
