Cadillac CTS Road Bike - 14 Speed SOLD OUT - DISCONTINUED The Cadillac CTS is a fantastic intermediate road bike with many features found on more expensive bikes. The frame is a high quality aluminum frame matched with a 700c alloy fork for smooth and responsive riding. The CTS comes equipped with fluid shifting Shimano STI brake and shift lever technology. Your brake levers and shifters are the same levers which allows you to be much more efficient without the need to change hand positions while you are riding. The handlebars are alloy and they attach to the bike with a NVO alloy stem for great steering response and adjustability, which makes it perfect for the novice rider to find the most ideal riding position. The Cadillac CTS Has Multiple Brake Positions The CTS features dual braking levers, providing you with new braking options, without giving up the hand position on your standard road bike handlebars. This is ideal for Comfort Road and Cyclocross riders. You can now brake from the drop portion of the handlebars when you are in more of a race riding position, or from the top of the bars when you are riding in a more upright or Cyclocross position. Features of the brakes include improved cable routing for a smoother feel at the lever, as well as a better clamp interface and a more comfortable lever surface. The relieved lever design with sculpted surfaces provide comfortable 2-finger braking from the bar tops. The pedals can be ridden as clip or clipless depending on your preference. The wheels feature aluminum machine walled rims for superior braking, stainless steel spokes and alloy hubs with quick releases in the front and rear. Topped off with Hutchinson tires that are 700x25c in size for smooth rolling, and equipped with schraeder valves making finding a pump an easy task for the standard type of valve. Please Note: This bike has compact geometry, for example if you normally fit a 54cm frame, you will probably ride a 50cm on this bike.
