Lets get the bad out of the way...

Cons: My bike came with 3 very minor scrapes on the frame. Not enough to warrant a return, but a bit annoying. Saddles are subject to different interpretations, but I found it to be a bit uncomfortable. It is not able to be tilted forward/back, so I must list it as a con. I had to tweak the gears a bit to get everything aligned perfectly, but it was very minor. Just a word of warning if you are not inclined to simple mechanics. A quick search on the 'net will give you many videos on how to adjust BTW.

Pros: For the price, a solid bike. You get what you pay for, but I feel you get a little bit more with this bike. It is light, looks good and the shifting is solid (once dialed in, but I like perfection when it somes to shifting - YMMV). Only had to install front tire, seat, pedals and handle bars - very simple to me. Hook up the brakes, and you are ready to ride. Took me 30 minutes with a majority of that time spent unpacking the contents. I didnt even need the manual, but YMMV. All tools needed are listed on the box. Oh yeah, tires were not inflated upon arrival, so have a pump handy. Wheels had tire liners installed, but I ran some electrical tape underneath them to help prevent any flats. In this case, uninflated tires were a good thing since I likely would have skipped this step otherwise. I would reccomend doing this as the inner rim is not entirely free of metal burrs, although they are very minor. Better safe than sorry.

I haven riden almost daily for 3 weeks, and I must say I am happy with my purchase. Bike rides very smooth, quick (skinny tires help a lot with this) and quietly. No creaks or noises indicative of poor lubrication from the factory.

This is a big step-up from what you would get from box retailers like walmart.

I was a bit hesistant to order a bike sight unseen, but this one was worth it.
The new Urbano is great 02/26/2010 - by Walter S. Way from Tennessee, USA
I received my new Urbano and quickly assembled it with no problems. Nothing had to be readjusted from the factory. The only complaint I have is the manual is not for this bike, it is a generic manual that gives little help for the Urbano. Although everything is very easy to figure out, a good manual would help. The bike rides like a dream, the gears are very smooth and the brakes perform perfectly. I love this bike and recommend it very highly.
