Women's Tonino Lamborghini Rapido Road Bike 21 Speed THE WOMEN's Rapido has been discontinued - Please see the Women's GMC Denali Road Bike as an Alternative The traditional road bike has been the pride of Italy for decades, and the Lamborghini Rapido is a classic example. The Rapido Road Bike features a custom tube aluminum frame that absorbs road shock. The drivetrain is composed of Custom Shimano RS-41 shifters and TX-30 derailleurs. The shifters are Shimano Twist shifters. They are on the top of the handlebars near the stem, simply twist one way to shift up and the other to shift back down a gear. I purchased this bike about a year ago now and it's been absolutely great. The gears did need some adjusting when I got it in the mail, but that wasn't terribly shocking after storage and shipping and was inexpensive to fix. I was most pleased when I found this bike--where I live, the shops sell only the closest to standardized frame sizes, meaning there was nothing I fit onto since this is a considered an XS size to fit my adult shortness ^_^' I was admittedly a bit worried about ordering this bike online, but it was an extremely easy assemble and even as a petite woman I have no problem dealing with its weight. Since I got this bike, I have been riding anywhere between 20-50 miles a day on all manners of terrain and have encountered no problems outside of the occasional flat tire. Overall, this bike was an excellent price (the local shops sell beginner basic bikes for $300 minimum) for an intermediate rider's needs. The only other thing I have to say against this bike was that the seat is rather hard--I got used to it over time, but you may want to replace it with a more comfortable seat ^_^ That is all :)
