lamborghini-rapidoTonino Seems like a Great Value for a Touring Bike

I just ordered my Lamborghini-Rapido Tonino today. I live in Richmond and have been looking for a value like this. I have visited 6-7 bike shops and simular values in this area cost any where from $100-$200 dolars more than this one from www.abikestore.com. I can wait to receive my bike. I will submitt an update in 3-4 weeks.

Perfect "Touring" bike for a commuter.

Good price if you want a simple commuter bike for low cost. This is not a serious road bike, I don’t consider it even an entry level road bike, it is more of a touring bike, but it fills that role nicely. I already have a more expensive Trek used for biking centuries, but I didn’t want to risk it getting stolen, and I wanted to keep it in good condition and use it only for races rather than commutes. I bought this bike for commuting and I find it to be perfect for that job. It is also a good practice bike if, like me, you have a more expensive bike you want to keep in good condition. For the price I can’t complain much. However, I do hate grip shifts, they are better than those old index shifts made years ago, however they don’t fit well on a road bike. You would constantly have to sit up to reach for the shifter, that kept it from getting 5 stars. Some reviews commented on the uneven shifting, but the shifting is fine if you tune the bike. I also wish it were a bit lighter. But otherwise for the price it is amazing. It is comfortable, simple, cheap, durable, and it works. It isn’t speedy or light, but if you are looking for a simple “point A to point B” bike get this. Oh also, the paint job does look cool, that is just a bonus. And this store pays for shipping, extra bonus. A definite good deal. Not a bike for a race but a bike for normal everyday life.

I bought this bike about 2 weeks ago and I cannot imagine a life without it anymore. I had to send the bike to a repair shop in order to adjust a few things; but as of now, I use the bike almost everywhere. My car is in the parking lot and might remain there for a long haul.

i have had this bike a little over a month and it is the best bike investment i have ever made i put about 100 miles a week on it and the only flaw is the front derailleur i need to adjust it but other than that its perfect huge difference from a mountain bike love it i encourage every one as a starter to get this bike

   Ridiculously Good Deal...

I bike 120 miles a week on a Raleigh hybrid. I figured why not give a full road bike a try. $200 bucks isn't a bad price to enter. I was about to buy a Trek or a Giant Road Bike for $600 - I compared the drive trains and features and went with the Lambo. All you need to do to get the Lambo up to better performance is change out the crankset and the front derailleur...then voila...you have a sweet entry level road bike. I keep up with the expensive bikes on the trail...no problem. I've owned the Lambo for 4 weeks after I put it together by myself...no problem. I did rip off the cheesy plastic bits and I painted the fork, headset and seatpost...now it looks expensive..

I bought this bike around March 2008. It took a professional person around 30 minutes to assemble from the box. The rear wheel is attached so that makes it a lot easier. I can't tell you how many times people complemented this bike. It looks very nice with its sharp color and roundup shape. My only disappointment is the gear. The pedal gear hardly shifts to the 3 gear. But its great and smooth between the first and the second. I think its just the issue of tightening the screws. Great value for the money.

I was kind of upset when my bike arrived. Not only did the delivery guy claim he had no cart to put it on, when i came out in the street to get it, he dropped it. The bike wasn't heavy so i didn't mind so much. Opening the bike and putting it together was very easy. This being my first bike ever, i needed something easy. Upon inspection, i noticed the back wheel was not aligned correctly. I guess the fall from the truck took care of that. This was easily corrected with a $4 dollar truing tool. The bike looks great and most people think it's very expensive looking. I will let them think this. It rides well and is very fast. Seeing that this is my first time on a bkie, i have to keep the speeds down until i get much better at the wheel. This bike will be great for anyone looking for a first bike. The only issue i could think of is it's weight. Kind of heavy for the average person.

    Service Complements Lamborghini Reputation

The service was great. When the bike arrived, something was wrong with the rear wheel. Yet, they shipped me a new wheel ASAP.
This is the same exact model sold elsewhere for $240.00+. For example, Sports Authority sells the exact same bike at a higher price.
The bike really does look great.
The front derailleur needed some adjustment, so a local bike shop adjusted it for $10.
I did a lot of research before purchasing this bike, and there is a fine tuning that you'll have to do with any new bike.
The exception to abikestore.com, they back up their products.
Read the reviews elewhere, and you'll understand. Amazon has a lot of negatives when it comes to backing up their products.
I was skeptical purchasing online, yet my fears were allayed with the service I received. Hope this helps anyone else who is considering to purchase a bike from this website.
