Almost immediately we were flooded with calls to put this wonderful and innovative drive train on a hybrid style bike so that commuters could benefit from the award winning seamless shifting technology. It took nearly a year of research and development to get it just right, but this revolutionary bike is finally available.
To those that are not familiar with the NuVinci seamless shifting, it quite simple, there are no derailleurs or clicks on the shifter! You twist the shifter to your desired resistance and you are set! The shifter is designed so that unexperienced bikers can easily become familiar with it. Seasoned cyclists find the system ergonomics to be a welcome change in a world of ever complicated gadgets. All of this technology is wrapped around a hand crafted light weight aluminum frame. The AVT is designed to be the ultimate commuter bike and features a rear rack for carrying packages, an upright riding position for ideal comfort. Front and rear disc brakes ensure optimal stopping power no matter what the weather brings. The all new AVT Commuter Bike is available in Men's 19.5" or 22" frame and Ladies' 17" frame.
